Here are some interesting facts about Mrs. Mascari:

I was born on September 27th in Santa Monica, CA.

I grew up in Westchester, CA.

I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1997 with a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Art History.

I was married to Marco Mascari in 2002.

Marco and I have a son, Nicholas, who was born on July 12, 2006.

I began teaching in 1998. I spent my first 3 years in the Wiseburn School District, where I taught 5th grade my first year and then 4th grade for two years. I came to Meadows in 2001 and taught 4th grade until 2005. I am VERY excited to begin my fourth year of teaching 3rd grade!

Some of my favorite things to do are:

• Spend time with my husband Marco & Nick.
• Going to Disneyland (I LOVE everything Disney)!
• Emailing, talking and visiting with one of my best friends Mrs. LaRusso (she recently moved to Austin, Texas).
• Listening to music (especially country).
• Cooking with Mr. Mascari - We love to watch the Food Network to get ideas!
• Photography
• Admiring “Impressionist” paintings
• Spending time with my family and our cocker spaniel “Abby”
• Learning about computers and anything "techy."
• Walking on the beach.
• Watching the Lakers
• Anything related to Harry Potter
• Elephants!!
